"W21C: Collaborative research for health system innovation"
Jill de Grood, Director
Jill is the Director of W21C, a health systems research and innovation initiative based in the University of Calgary and the Calgary Zone of Alberta Health Services. W21C serves as a research and beta test-site for prototypical hospital design, novel approaches to health care delivery, human factors research, and innovative medical technologies. Jill is responsible for directing and facilitating the progression of W21C with respect to its vision, concept, implementation, and evaluation.
Jill will be speaking about W21C and the benefits of collaborative research for health care innovation. The event will be hosted at W21C's facility on April 22nd from 3 to 7 pm.
Jill's presentation will be followed by a round table discussion of issues confronting medical device companies, a tour of the facility, and a networking reception to close off the evening. Refreshments will be provided.
