The Life Sciences Innovation Hub (LSI Hub) has launched a new service for resident and non-resident members called the Expert Advisor Program

The LSI Hub at the University of Calgary is a facility designed to build and grow promising life science-based companies. This initiative was made in part through generous contributions from our community to help deliver commercial value from research-intensive activities.

Activated by Innovate Calgary, the LSI Hub is a place where students, researchers, startups and growing companies can access a variety of resources to advance their life science-based company.

The LSI-Hub Expert Advisor Program is a new service for resident and non-resident members, available exclusively for Southern Alberta companies (geography determined as per OCIF’s funding requirements).)  LSI Hub Members and Tenants can access up to 100 hours of free consultancy from our talented roster of 25 Expert Advisors located across Canada and parts of the U.S. Our unique program matches start-up companies with qualified experts who provide advice, guidance, coaching and mentorship on key topics including business planning, financing, regulatory, clinical, board governance, PR and social media, pitch coaching, business development and more. For a partial list of Expert Advisors and their profiles, click on the “Expert Advisors” tab on our website. For membership options that describe how to access the Expert Advisors program, please see attached brochure.

The service has been extremely well received by LSI-Hub clients during the initial test phase and the expert advisors have capacity to serve many more clients.
