Genomics Application Partnerships Program (GAPP) Competition

Genome Canada Program:  Alberta Focus

GAPP is designed for end-users (may be a start-up company) to partner with academics for the development of genomic tools applied to industry driven problems. As part of this program, end-users will need to invest a minimum of 1/3 (can be a combination of in-kind and cash) of the project budget and Genome Canada will invest a maximum of 1/3 of the project budget to support genomics based activities. GAPP is an ongoing program with a 3-stage process: EOI, Pitch, and Supplementary Proposal. The first two stages are due on a rolling intake basis (EOI and Pitch) with the last stage (Supplementary Proposal) having a deadline. The next deadline for the Round 7 Supplementary proposal is: 30th September 2016.

For more information about the GAPP program objectives, parameters, project eligibility, or the application process click here.  Submissions of DRAFT Expressions of Interest (see template) must be submitted to Genome Alberta by June 17th, 2016

For details about the GAPP Investment Strategy & Guidelines click here.

Genome Alberta will support applicants and help them put forth strong proposals for Genome Canada funded competitions.  Please check Genome Alberta deadlines for internal review.
