Connecting the life science industry to talented experts new to Canada.
BioTalent and CRIEC have created this event to provide an integrated
approach where relevant experts (Canadian industry) are in one room
providing information and guidance/direction on career paths and, where
appropriate, accreditation, and the opportunity to connect in person
with employers and practitioners. Part information, part education and
part inspiration – they connect stakeholders in the community who have a
vested interest in collaborating on solutions to work force and/or
workplace issues. |

Break-out Sessions: |
We will have 3 break-out opportunities and participants choose any 2. Each break-out session will be about 35 minutes long and then particpants move to their second break-out session. These break-out opportunities will relate directly to the 3 key groups within the BioTalent sector such as Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Research, Intellectual Property Law, etc. Each break-out will be in a different room and will be a moderated Q & A led by a CRIEC and BioTalent Canada rep and will include a BioTalent Canada employer partner actually in that field like Agrium, Bayer, etc, The employer partner will introduce themselves and their organization. Participants then ask questions and engage in a conversation about how one might transfer their skills to that particular field. |
