One of CEAPRO’s advantages is their use of proprietary extraction technology. Their latest technique is PGX
(Pressurized Gas eXpanded liquids) technology, a novel spray dying
technique for processing water soluble biopolymers including oat beta
glucan. The technology allows the production of biopolymers with
numerous morphologies ranging from fine fibres to granular powders.
Operating at a lower temperature than conventional spray drying PGX
technology allows for the production of thermoactive and highly
heat-sensitive compounds that were previously extractable only through
more expensive and time consuming methods. |
