BioAlberta Hosts 10th Annual Sanofi-Aventis BioTalent Challenge
Top High School Students’ Compete for Cash Prizes
with Innovative Life Science Research Projects
Extraordinary Calgary high-school students are working on “real world” life science research and their projects will be adjudicated and prizes awarded at an all-day event at the University of Calgary, on Tuesday, 13 April 2010.
17 high school students’ hard-work will pay off as 11 teams compete for over $6,000 in cash awards. After months of experimenting in science labs at the University of Calgary, these teens are well practiced at research. The SABC has a long-term impact on these students’ lives who may become the future scientists who will lead Alberta’s innovation and future discoveries!
The General Public -- Parents, Peers, Friends, Teachers, Mentors, Media -- are all welcome to attend the afternoon Open Session to view the students' posters, to enjoy the awards ceremony, and to mingle at a reception afterwards. Schedule details available soon.
